• Identification and authority documents required for filings (Powers of Attorney, assignments, affidavits, proof-of-right, priority certificates, etc.).
• Payment details for invoicing, where applicable.

• Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer URL, and date/time of access.
• Minimal cookies required for essential site functionality (see Section 6).

How We Use Your Information

We use information only for purposes consistent with providing legal services and running our firm:

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Government IP offices (Indian Patent Office, Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Office, Designs Office; and foreign offices such as CNIPA, EUIPO, IPOS, MyIPO, DGIP, and others) — to the extent necessary to prosecute your applications;
• Associate counsel in other jurisdictions for coordinated filings and enforcement, subject to confidentiality obligations;
• Service providers bound by confidentiality (IT infrastructure, managed hosting, docketing systems, professional indemnity insurers, translators);
• Courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities where legally required;
• With your express consent in any other circumstance.

All third parties to whom we disclose personal information are required to handle it in accordance with confidentiality obligations and applicable law.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted communications, access controls, and secure physical and electronic record-keeping. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials used to interact with us.

Retention

We retain client records and case files in accordance with our professional obligations and applicable statutes of limitation. IP prosecution files are typically retained for the life of the registration plus a reasonable post-expiry period to handle renewals, assignments, and post-grant matters. Records required by tax, regulatory, or professional rules are retained for the periods prescribed by those rules.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies for essential functionality (such as remembering your navigation state within a session). We do not currently deploy third-party advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioural profiling cookies. Standard server logs may be retained for security monitoring and troubleshooting. If we introduce analytics in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Because we represent clients across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate filings and enforcement internationally, information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries outside India. All such transfers are conducted under applicable legal and professional safeguards, and recipients are bound by confidentiality obligations.
